Doing Business in Dubai




Before you start to engage in economic activity in Dubai and apply for a license, we have to read this information and the key steps outlined below, which contribute to achieving the requirements of practicing economic accurately.

(Example: Gulf partner and a partner and newcomer requires a partner of the citizens of the state)
• Civil business company: It is permissible for two or more of the citizens of the States to establish a civil business company to practice a specific profession without the requirement to appoint a local agent, but in the case of a partner or more than non-GCC citizens shall be appointed a local agent of UAE nationals or as a partner.
Thirdly - the citizens of other States:
May the citizens of other countries, whether Arab or foreign economic activities one of the following legal forms:
• Individual institution: may be established for the conduct of one individual professional activities only provided the appointment of a local agent of the citizens of the United Arab Emirates
• A limited liability company: establishes this kind of companies to engage in a commercial or industrial activity is required here and having a partner or more UAE nationals so that not less than its share / share of 51% of the paid-up capital.
• Private joint stock company: establish this type of company to engage in a commercial or industrial activity is required here and having a partner or more UAE nationals so that not less than its share / share of 51% of the paid-up capital
• Civil business company: It is permissible for two people to establish a civil business company for the conduct of professional activity, provided that the appointment of a local agent of the citizens of the UAE, or as a partner.
IV - Foreign Companies:
Permissible for companies incorporated outside the UAE engage in a commercial or industrial activity or professional one of the following legal forms:
• Branch of a foreign company.
• A limited liability company: establishes this kind of companies to engage in a commercial or industrial activity is required here and having a partner or more UAE nationals so that not less than its share / share of 51% of the paid-up capital
• Public company / private: establish this type of company to engage in a commercial or industrial activity is required here and having a partner or more UAE nationals so that not less than its share / share of 51% of the paid-up capital.
